AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING NEW SEWER RATES FOR THE CITY OF FOWLER, KANSAS, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 375 AND ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF FOWLER, KANSAS:
SECTION 1. Section 15-431 of the Code of the City of Fowler is hereby amended to read as follows:
SEWER SERVICE CHARGE. The monthly minimum charge for the first 4,000 gallons of service shall be as follows:
- USD 225: $100.00 per month
Fowler Nursing Home: $100.00 per month
All Commercial Users: $20.00 per month
All Residential Users: $15.00 per month
In addition, each consumer shall pay $0.50 per 1,000 gallons thereafter.
- Any user, which discharges any toxic pollutants, which cause an increase in cost to the city, shall pay for such increased costs. The engineer of the city shall determine the charge to each such user.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication by summary once in the official city newspaper.
